Those are happy ones CorelDraw users who never experienced CorelDraw’s crash. This is really frustrating to loose your hard work. It’s twice frustrating with CorelDraw as it loves to clean up your file and leave just few bytes in size file. So it happened to me just now. Well it’s good when you have Backup_of_filename.cdr file on disk. Sometimes you don’t, like I did not in my case.
So I was working with CorelDraw X4 and it unexpectedly… not even crashed, it just diapeared from my screen, like it never been there. All I was left with was temporary CorelDraw file @@@CDRW.TMP with size of few megabytes and my_filename.cdr of few bytes in size. Continue reading »

Today I’ve received my D-Link AirPlus Xtreme G Wireless router brought on eBay. Actually I wanted not just Wireless routrer but ADSL modem, but I’ve missed the description and brought this one. But I decided to keep it, as I also have D-Link DSL-500T ADSL modem. So it will be 2 boxes instead of one, but it worth it’s price - I’ve got them almost for free.
Okay, so my DSL-500T ADSL modem is up and running in router mode (another mode is bridge). So by connecting modem to one of four Wireless router LAN ports I was getting internet connaction on machines, connected to Wireless router both wired and wireless. Today I’m doing search for a ready to go nice and small FAQ section script. I believe you all know FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions site section (Pronounced as separate letters, or as "fak").
First request at google gave me few websites, with five and more FAQ scripts on each website, ready for download and install. My first choice was first script in the list called - FAQ Thingee 1.0.

As many of sites had link and info on this script I thought I’m not wasting my time… What a waste of time. There is readme.txt included, and it seems that installation instruction is described well. I am a web professional. I’m dealing with domain names, webhosting, website setup, web programming, design and security. I do run a tiny webhosting/webdevelopment company. I have always been working hard looking for webhosting clients, supporting company website to sell hosting services, I’ve been giving tech support and I thought it should be that way… till one day.
On the web I have found a company, which managed to automate everything. Literally everything in webhosting business. It does look very simple now, but I never could think that someone will get something like that actually working.
