Chapter One: Good idea in right time is money.
Now, as I started writing on this subject, I thought maybe it’s too much to think so much around this tiny ideas, and even write about this, okay, I know I’m boring now, so let’s get to the point.
Sometimes in right moment you came up with ideas which saves your money or helps to make more INSTANTLY. In my case, I was ready to pay for renewing few of my domains, and right before pressing checkout button I came up with Idea: I should google, right now.
Chapter two: Why I hate GoDaddy.
It kills me with it’s heavy website and random site layout. May be it’s just me, about the layout, because I do web design, still it’s too complicated, too straight and commercial look for one of the world’s largest domain registrars. Also it’s GoDaddy‘s extras. It has tons of extras I never want and never buy. At each checkout I have to AVOID this extra options, and checkout process layout does not allow to just register or renew domain without questions asked.Sometimes GoDaddy does not open for some reason. World’s top huh?
The last thing, today I was angry because I couldn’t change 2 years to one year extension in shopping cart. I had to clear my cart, and look and add all domains I waned to renew, to my cart again to extent them with one year instead of default two. Shopping cart does have “Update Cart” button, but I still unable to set 1 year, options are 3 or 5 years.
The other thing is rumors, that GoDaddy taken over domains in several cases for “not following TOS”, meaning for some sort of TOS, that limits usage of registered with GoDaddy domains by site content. Crazy but it seems that there was cases. More info at nodaddy.com.
Chapter three: I still use GoDaddy as my domain registrar.
So here is a conclusion. Registrar stability and domain renewal prise means all for me. I’ve been with FegisterFly registrar before they closed with scandal, while made many clients like me to temporary (for 6 months) or even permanently loose our domains. And when you register domain for a client, this makes you responsible for choosing registrar. So yes, it’s stability first, but price is next important thing.
At first look at GoDaddy.com renewal price, you’ll see like $10.68 which is not good at all. Then you have to turn on your brain and do some thinking.

NOTE: No one can guarantee that all codes work. Codes found in open sources online. Many factors applied by GoDaddy while checking entered code like time, location, account etc. So while code works for one person, it may don’t work for other or in other day.
So you now will be paying some 7.50 instead of 10.50+ and this is 3 bucks off of EACH domain in your cart. Just NOW I’ve used gdbb776 code and saved $8.59 on renewing 3 domains. While renewing more domains, I would play more and try more codes to get significant discount. Go and TRY as much as you want, and don’t forget to comment if I’ve saved you few bucks with this post
. I’ll try to keep list with codes up to date, so feel free to bookmark this page. Happy saving with GoDaddy.

I have just registered one and renewed one .COM domain. Regular Godaddy price is $11.99 but renewal was offered at $9.32*(includes ICANN fee).
With renewal I have used gdbb776 cupon, which droped price to $8.17*. For registration I have used yhkw105a cupon, which allowed to register new .COM domain for $7.67* only.
Total economy: $1.15+$4.32=$5.47 on two domains. Cupons rule!

Renewing .BIZ I was offered by GoDaddy to pay not regular $14.99 but $10.64, including ICANN fee Order Total was $10.82.
Rev14 cupon makes it $7.99 + ICANN = $8.17 Total.
Which still is $2.65 cheaper. Earlier this cupon was a bit better.
